Tips and Suggestions

Hi guys,

Next week I will be taking HP certified System Administrator exam ( HP0-002). I have gone through HP education material "HP-UX System and Network Administration for Experienced Users" and of course practical experience as well.

Please do suggest any tips/ suggestions before my exam.

Thanks
Venky

Re: Tips and Suggestions

There are quite a few questions about configuration files and which ones you need to update in order to do something.
So one thing I did when studying for this exam was that I created a table of all the major configuration files and what their purpose was (what they affected). Then I looked over that table to make sure I memorized all the conf file names and their purpose.
Also, look over some of the common command line options for certain commands like the find command and the grep command. There are a few about those.
Lastly, get a good night sleep:)

Re: Tips and Suggestions

As Hamez told, that is a good idea. Then pay attension to network part. Also before you answer, do read it very carefully. LVM stuff should be no problem. Rafiq's book is great and has test questionair.

Wich you all the best.
