to recover vm using ignite tape
Hi Admins,
HPUX 11.31
VSP 6.10.05
I have taken ignite tape backup of a HPUX VM1.The tape drive been assigned from netbackup.
Now i want to recover the VM using ignite tape.But EFI shell not showing any tape drive details.Please find the given vm details.

Hi.
HPVM EFI by default enumerates only boot devices (those listed in boot menu).
To change that you need to use drvcfg in EFI. See HPVM V6.1.5 admin guide chapter 11.12.

I'm not sure whether map -r is sufficient to trigger a rescan. Restart the guest.

Oups, a bit late : use reconnect -r after drvcfg and before map
