Tomcat issue : CORBA client is not able to find service
We have a Web application called PLATO in DCC env.
As like Plato there is another instance for external (no HP users) xPlato.
xPlato is deployed in DMZ domain (outside the firewall ).Both the applications uses Apache + tomcat .
In a scenario xPlato and Plato uses Visibroker (CORBA) service to transfer user documents to PLATO server.
The CORBA service is running on PLATO server.
The filetranfer request fails once every 15-20 days, because the client is not able to look up the service.
And the error message is "org.omg.CORBA.TRANSIENT: Could not contact osagent vmcid: 0x0 minor code: 0 completed: No" .
As a workaround , we restart the tomcat server where the xpalto is running.
This works for max 3 weeks time.
Please advise on this issue and let me know if you need any additional info.
Thank you .
Regards,
Ananth.
