tooltalk daemon on s800 has high cpu usage

After upgrading a D230 server from HP-UX 10.20 to 11.11 I experience a very high cpu usage for the "rpc.ttdbserver" (>80 percent, seen from "top" command). The machine seems to be slowed down remarkably.

I did not see this on 11.11 Workstations. What could be the reason ?

You need to install the December 2003 11.11 Quarterly Patch set.

This and all patches from itrc NFS and rpc search should resolve this issue.

This is a common problem after the upgrade on slower hardware.
