Trapd and Trapd.conf
Hi
I am Using HP UX 11.11 Machine. Trapd and associated trapd.conf file was missing in my system. Please let me know which patch do i need to install to get trapd and trapd.conf file

You need to either reinstall the program that provided these files or pull them off another working system.

I do not think the functionality to receive and process SNMP traps is included/inherent to HPUX.
Need snmp management sw like nnm, foglight, unicenter, etc...

Thanks for Reply. My requirement is just catch 5 predefined trap messages and send to another system after processing.
I think NNM is not match with my requirement because my requirement is to catch Trap messages. NNM comes with Other GUI stuffes along with trapd.
Is there any chance of getting trapd/snmptrapd and associated config file.
Please let me know net-snmp suites my requirement??
