Re: Trivial Question: tcpdum/snoop on HP-UX 10.20
HP has something similar called nettl (man nettl).
But if you are comfortable with tcpdump, you can download and install tcpdump binaries from
http://hpux.ee.ualberta.ca/hppd/hpux/Networking/Admin/tcpdump-3.6.2
Remember you would also need libpcap.
But if you don't want to bother with installing tcpdump, attached is a doc on using nettl

Here is another HP doc which tells you how to use nettl on a HP system.

Re: Trivial Question: tcpdum/snoop on HP-UX 10.20
Also, there are many other softwares available that work like snoop.
http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/hppd/hpux/Gtk/ethereal-0.8.19/
http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/hppd/hpux/Networking/Admin/snort-1.8.1/
Still I like nettl. It is not very friendly but if you do some reading, it's very handy.

Btw, if you're planning to use ethereal, then you'll need to download some additional packages. Ethereal is nice because it has a nice simple to use GUI:
http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/hppd/hpux/Networking/Admin/libpcap-0.6.2/
http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/hppd/hpux/Gtk/Development/glib-1.2.10/
http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/hppd/hpux/Gtk/Development/gtk+-1.2.10/
http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/hppd/hpux/Development/Libraries/snmp-1.14/
