I converted a system with OS 10.20 but when I access a user, I'm encountering this error message:
UNEXPECTED EXIT: process LNAG=C LC_ALL=C /usr/sam/lbin/samx -C -p 22995 -w ts_gsecp_stepmenu /usr/sam/lib//ts.ui exited with a non-zero exit status.
sh: 23134 Bus error(coredump).
Is there any patch I need to install?
thanks

SolutionCheck the SAM patch you have on your system "/usr/sbin/swlist -l product |grep -i SAM"
I have seen similar issues with some of the older patches. The latest SAM patch is PHCO_22268

Re: Trusted System - C2 -Error in accessing SAM
Now, just to re-check, try un-converting back to non-trusted and see if you can be able to bring up SAM. /usr/lbin/tsconvert -r. Then again convert it back to trusted using tsconvert. Try using the manual commands like modprpw on few accounts and see if they are working fine.

Re: Trusted System - C2 -Error in accessing SAM
Patch PHCO_22268 should fix your problem as
already suggested. Just remember when using
Sridhar's suggestion that each time you
un-convert and re-convert again all user
passwords in the password database will be
reset and users will have to change their passwords again. This could get quite annoying to users if it is done all the time. A Sys Admin in my team did this once and we nearly had a mutiny on our hands.
