Trusted system login in time out

Please tell me it isn't that bad!
I have one system that is set up as a trusted system. I just locked out my self as root.
by default will this time out?

Re: Trusted system login in time out

Hi Marty,

Yes it will last.
But - you can still login as root from the console even when root is locked.
Then run

/usr/lbin/modprpw -k root

to unlock it.

Jeff

Re: Trusted system login in time out

A console login automatically unlocks the user id on trusted systems. Web Console.

Oh! Thank you!
The server is 6 hours from here.
Now I know why I spent the time to get the secure web console working.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
