Trying to find help
Every time our computer is turned on it shows a message saying windows may have
been shut down wrong and then begans to scan the disk drives. Can someone tell
me how to prevent this. The computer says to prevent this message from occuring
again put in the command no expire but I have no idea how to do that. Anyones
help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

Re: Trying to find help
It sounds like you are talking about a PC system. You might have better luck
getting an answer in the Microsoft forum. If it is a PC running Windows, make
sure you are using the "Shut Down" item in the menu before turning the computer
off.

Re: Trying to find help
Look on the left side of the IT Resource Center Screen. There is a Microsoft
Forum. You are in the HP-UX (UNIX) forum.
Common problem with WIN95.
Best Regards.

Re: Trying to find help
Hi Yu,
Which application do you installed last? Do not open that and try to bring
window down and then bring it back up. As per I know one of the application
causing this.
