ttf barcode font installation on hpux servers

Dear Experts,

Our apps team have given a ttf file to install the barcode font into the server for printing of the barcodes.

Here is the procedure i have done for the installation.

-->I have uploaded the ttf file to some location on server.
-->copied the ttf file under /usr/lib/X11/fonts/ms.st/typeface file
-->From the directory /usr/lib/X11/ms.st have executed the following:
stmkdirs typefaces
This was generated a new fonts.dir file in the typefaces directory.
Before generation of new fonts.dir file I have taken a backup of original fonts.dir file.
-->Restarted the xfs services.
-->Checked the fonts.dir file and has been updated with the new font ttf file.

Kindly advise me for any suggestions.

OK so you added a font to the server. Which app or binary is expected to use these fonts and is it aware that the fonts are there?

Good morning TTr,
Our application team have done some settings and have printed the reports but they are unable to print the barcodes. However they have printed the barcodes successful in windows system.
So that they have given a ttf file and asked me to install on the hpux 11.11 server.

I have searched in ITRC and found some steps to install the ttf file barcode fonts on to unix machine. Based on that i have installed the font but i don't know the procedure i did is correct and don't know it will work for the application team to print the barcodes.

I am waiting for their response that it is working or not.

I am attaching the ttf file which they have given it to me to install.
