Tunnelling X11 through a telnet port..

Hi,

Is it possible via putty or equivalent to tunnel X11 from hpux over a telnet connection?

I need X11 connectivity to an 11i server when only port 23 is availble.

I think this is working only via ssh, see

yes, it's kind of related.
The EMS works from X11 but not via Terminal emulation...
I've only got telnet access to the server.

Should be able to.

I tunnel my X11 through my putty ssh connection. that way all XWindows apps are encrypted I cannot think of why you would not be able to select telnet to do the same.

oops.. just notice the putty X11 forwarding setting was under the SSH config options.

Use

/etc/opt/resmon/lbin/monconfig

to add/modify your monitoring requests.

Looks difficult, but it isn't.
