Turning on System Accounting - any other options?

Hello,
I need to begin collecting user usage statistics for managment to charge departments for computer resource use. Ie. userid/cpu time used/disk space usage etc. What products are available that are designed to do this? and has anyone used them? I dont really want to turn on system accounting... Does anyone have any suggestions?
System - HP L & N class boxes running HPUX 11.0

Thanks!

Hi

Go to www.software.hp.com and look around.

Or via the bottom go to the public domain and look at the accounting software such as

acct-6.3.2
The GNU Accounting Utilities package for unix. Acct s a set of utilities which reports and summarises data about user connect times and process execution statistics under u*x. It includes progs to summarise login accounting, turn process accounting on, show the people who have logged in and which commands have been used etc.
