tusc utility form hp-ux 11.0 - where can I find it?

I'm having a hard time to find binaries of 'tusc' debug utility for my hp-ux 11.0 box. Everywhere I look (including hp site itself) point to the hp-ux porting centre where the 11.0 build is no longer available.

Any thoughts of where can I find it? I cannot compile-it since I dont have disk space for the gcc install (*geez*)

I would be glad if someone could attach it like a static-compiled binary or something like that.

Thanks to all!

Hi Klaus,

Normally I would send you here:

http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/hppd/hpux/Sysadmin/tusc-7.8/

But they only have the compiled versions for 11iv1 & 11iv2.
BUT they do have the source code so you could compile it yourself for 11.0

HTH,
Jeff

Hi,

I've just found a version of tusc, 7.5, while searching in my notebook, maybe can help you in case you don't find anything better.
I'm attaching it to this post.

I no longer have the depot, (although I could have built you one.) so I am attaching the binary.

Hope it helps

Re: tusc utility form hp-ux 11.0 - where can I find it?

It was my understanding that any version of tusc can run on 11.0. The archives out there do not compile tusc themselves, the source remains with the author who is an HP person. So, while they may _package_ a given version of tusc they aren't compiling it. I believe (could be wrong) that the HP author always compiled it such that it could run on 11.0. No guarantee of that continuing of course...

Apart from the archives and the DSPP, ftp.cup.hp.com is a place to get tusc, from dist/networking/tools/ the "networking" bit is an artifact from the past.
