Re: Tutorial

Hi,

Also can have a look at the NExt Generation Mass Storage Stack and the Rear Sections of Whwn good Disks Go Bad.

They are also a good place to start to.

Re: Tutorial

Okay but those assume knowledge of the previous versions of HP UX. Which I don't have.

I need a tutorial that describes it from the ground up.

Re: Tutorial

Hi Mike,

if you're new to Unix, it may be worthwhile to take some of the HP-UX classes that are available. Most of them seem to be available remotely with live instructors, so you can ask questions while you go. Also includes labs.

Re: Tutorial

Hi, actually I'm not new to Unix, been a Unix SA for many years, but primarily Redhat and haven't worked with HP-UX in a long time, don't remember the LVM/disk management stuff.

Actually, on all HP-UX distros, /opt/ssh/COPYRIGHT.sftpfilecontrol is my puppy.

Sort of funny how I've got something distributed with HP, but didn't have access to it until last week.
