[# ll
total 64
drwxr-xr-x 2 bin bin 8192 May 21 2008 cfs
-rw------- 1 root sys 28 Dec 2 19:44 cmclnodelist
-r-------- 1 bin bin 118 Mar 15 2007 cmknowncmds
dr-xr-xr-x 2 bin bin 96 May 21 2008 examples
dr-xr-xr-x 2 bin bin 8192 Dec 1 20:37 lib
dr-xr-xr-x 4 root root 96 May 21 2008 modules
dr-xr-xr-x 5 bin bin 96 Dec 1 20:37 scripts
[rx26-185]/etc/cmcluster
# cat cmclnodelist
rx26-185 root
rx26-186 root
[rx26-185]/etc/cmcluster
#
The I go to SMH,I have
HP Serviceguard Manager ----> There is no cluster configured.
Now I click on Create Cluster and give the cluster name as cluster1.. again I see only one node here insted of two..
Solved! Go to Solution.

Re: two node service guard cluster
you should use commands to get the cluster configured and follow the MCSG Refernces as mentioned in the earlier post.
cmquerycl -v -n node1 -n node2 -C /etc/cmcluster/cmclconfig.ascii
edit the ascii file to set the cluseter name and parametres
vi /etc/cmcluster/cmclconfig.ascii
check the configuration
cmchceckconf -v -C /etc/cmcluster/cmclconfig.ascii
if no errors returned do
cmapplyconf -v -C /etc/cmcluster/cmclconfig.ascii
cmruncl -v : to start the clsuter
make sure that that there is a file /etc/cmcluster/cmclnodelist
with the entry as
node1 root
node2 root
