tzupdate errors out?
Hey;
I've tried this on several different systems with the same result, so I'm assuming it's something I'm messing up. I know nothing about java and, honestly, I'm not too interested in knowing. However, as everyone's paniced by the pending doom of a time change, (FORWARD, for God's sake!) I have to get these thing patched.
I downloaded and extracted both the 1.3 and 1.4 tzupdaters. I'm getting the same results with the 1.4 version. Here's the command:
# /opt/java1.3/bin/java ./tzupdater131.class -t /opt/java1.3/jre/lib/rt.jar
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: //tzupdater131/class
The only thing I can see in the readme that's different is that there's not supposed to be a ".class" on the tzupdater131 file - but, I don't have a file named tzupdater131. The closest is that .class file.
Anybody see what I'm messing up? Appreciate any hints/tips/suggestions.
