ulimit changes permanent

Server: RX1620
O.S.: HP-UX 11.23 Release september 2006

I change the ulimit value:

# ulimit -n 4096
# ulimit -c unlimited


I put these commands in .profile that user, but the changes not take effect.

I solved the problem.

I put these lines the end of the file:

ulimit -n
ulimit -n 4096
ulimit -n
ulimit -c
ulimit -c unlimited
ulimit â c
