unable to acces dat drive in HPUX

I am using HPUX11i and have connected dat drive on it. I use to take regular backup on the same dat drive but today when i fire the backup it gives the error as
/dev/rmt/0mnb: No such device or address
I have rebooted the backup server but and have checked the cable connection all are proper dont know what have gon wrong.

The OS is telling "No such device or address" even if there is no tape loaded.

Also check the device listed in "ioscan -fnCtape".
