Unable to Activate VG
wants to add disk by using vgextend.
I configured cluster & deactivated which i have created new volume group for vgextend ( kesari).i wanted to activate that volume group but it doesnt allow me to do. below is the error when i try to activate.
vgchange: Warning: Couldn't attach to the volume group physical volume "/dev/dsk/c0t0d1":

vgchange: Warning: couldn't query physical volume "/dev/dsk/c0t0d1":
The specified path does not correspond to physical volume attached to
this volume group
vgchange: Warning: couldn't query all of the physical volumes.
vgchange: Couldn't activate volume group "/dev/kesari":
Quorum not present, or some physical volume(s) are missing.

Cross device links error happens, when disk gets included in more than one vg. Check carefully to know, if this disk is in more than one vg.
vgdisplay on lvols and if under cluster on all nodes.

Hi
Check whether the disk is already a part of some other vg. strings /etc/lvmtab |grep /dev/dsk/c0t0d1
Also check whether the disk is claimed in ioscan output.

Check #ioscan -fnC disks # diskinfo /dev/dsk/c0t0d1. Also take a look at this thread, same problem reported
