Unable to boot machine : INIT 440 AP CONSOLE msg in status

Hello , I was attempting to reboot my HP-UX 10.20 D220 box.. and the machine
stops with 'INIT 440 AP CONSOLE' displayed in the message box..

I have had this happen before and I had to reboot the machine while holding
down a specific control key.. I can't remember the key.. anyone know it..

try holding the "D" key and power-cycling the console. The console could be
hung.
