Unable to build the Sybase in HP UX 11.0.

Hi Admins,

My Sybase DBA team is Unable to build the Sybase in HP UX 11.0. They are getting error msg.

: SYBMULTBUF WARNING: Cannot use Asynchronous I/O for database device '/dev/vg01/lv57' because either the device type does not allow it or because the Adaptive Server Enterprise is using Synchronous I/O. Backup Server is using Synchronous I/O for this device which
will cause significant performance degradation.
