unable to change kernel parametres

Hi

Iam facing some problem in changing the kernel parametres in Hp unix

Ii open sam and go to kernel parametres
following error message is displayed

Hi Binu,

Can you check your SAM logfiles ? It should be under /var/sam/log

Just try to restart the machine (If it is not production system). Meanwhile see samlog file available as /var/sam/log/samlog

Binu,
the problem is most likely down to a file corruption. Have you been (un)installing any software/drivers? Any changes to the kernel?
You could boot with the previous kernel and try again.
