Recently I install two cards A6825A PCI GigE Base-T in a server HP9000 V2250 with operating system HPUX B.11.00, already install the driver igelan version 1 Dec 18 2003. The cards are come with an ioscan but they are not come with the sam to be able to configure them.
The cards are already connected to the switch with cable UTP and the led is in green.
Thank's in advance for your help.

Re: Unable to configure A6825A PCI GigE Base-T card
Did you install HW Enablement Patch Bundle? You may download from:
http://www4.itrc.hp.com/service/patch/releasePage.do?BC=patch.breadcrumb.main|patch.breadcrumb.releaseIndexPage|&releaseId=5013-2091
Post the output of:
#ioscan -fun
Enjoy :)

Re: Unable to configure A6825A PCI GigE Base-T card
ioscan -fnC lan
something like /dev/diag/lan0, /dev/ether0 or /dev/lan0
if not, run the command
insf -e
then try configuring them again.
UNIX because I majored in cryptology...

SolutionDid you install de patch bundle after you install the drivers? You must first install the A6825A product and then install the pacth bunlde.
Also check with SAM if the IGELAN driver is enabled in the kernel!
Enjoy :)
