Re: Unable to connect
So where are we in this?
Can Server 1 ping Server 2 using its hostname?
Can Server 1 ping Server 2 using its ip address?
Are both on the same LAN?
Have you tried telneting from Server 2 to 1 and if so what is the result.
Can anyone else telnet to server 2?
What did netstat -a |grep telnet
return?
tcp 0 0 *.telnet *.* LISTEN
Any other lines besides the above?
We need some feedback if you want the problem solved. Just saying it didn't help doesn't tell us what we can rule out.
