unable to do ssh

Hello All,

ssh is not working on one server.
Its giving below error.

$ssh -l wbsee host1
Connection closed by 192.168.98.13

Please advice. It was working before with out any problem.

Hi,

Can you do the following and get back,

$ ssh -vvv -l wbsee host1

Also, check in server logs for any messages.

Hi,
Here, the problem is with the public key authentication. If u r ready to authenticate with password. Then disable the public key authentication option in your sshd.config file and restart sshd and try to connect again.

If u want to continue only with public key authenticaton, then try to generate new keys and follow the steps given in the attached doc.
