Unable to ftp login after configuring proftp
I have installed proftpd 1.3 on my server. Then I configured it with some options and user and group. when I tried ftp to that server it showed error:-
Connected to 10.3.10.51.
Connection closed by remote host.
and when I reverted the changes in file /etc/inetd.conf then again I am able to ftp login on the server.
what is the cause that I am not able to ftp login with proftpd configurations on the server.

Re: Unable to ftp login after configuring proftp
Shalom,
Well, based on the evidence presented, I would say you made a mistake in the proftpd configuration.
Perhaps you could post a brief log entry so myself or others can provide a clue to whats going on.
