Hi,
I have a HP-UX 10.20 machine in which i want to install GNU Tar. But one of the dependencies for the tar depot file, namely "libiconv" is not available in the HP site. It is available only for 11.* versions.
Since this is an urgent requirement, please let me know how i can install the GNU tar for HP-UX (or) where can i find the dependency packages.
Thanks and regards
Vinod

Re: unable to install GNU Tar for HP-UX 10.20
T.G. That is a very useful link, but only if you have a working C compiler. They don't supply HP-UX 10.20 binries (but only the source, in fact the place where I got it from actually, but those links can be found on https://www.beepz.com/personal/merijn too at the end of the page)
Enjoy, Have FUN! H.Merijn
