unable to set 1000FD auto-on in 1000Base-T 4-port (AB545)

Hi All,
we are having rp3440 running hpux 11.11 .Trying to set the lan speed to 1000fd autoon.But i was unable to do that either by sam or by commmand line.It is at good driver level and cables are ok.Switch port is set to auto on.
PDC version is at 45.44 and the latest fix patch for iether PHNE_36237 is also installed.Pls help me.

You need to set it to just AUTO and it will take care of itself. It sounds like you are specifying both 1000FD and AUTO.

Run "lanadmin -X 0 AUTO", where 0 is the PPA number of the card, obtained from lanscan.

I agree Pete.But the switch side is auto-on and we are unable to set it to 1000FD in switch side.In the server side when i ran this command
# lanadmin -S 1000fd 5
Old Speed = 100000000
Unable to change speed: errno = 22

===># lanadmin -X 1000fd 5
The option "1000fd" is not valid

I did try through sam as well,but the same result.It refused to change it to 1000fd autonegotiation on.
