unable to subnet lan0 Interface

Help,

For some reason that is escaping me, I am unable to get my HP-UX 11.0 to accept
a 255.255.255.192 subnet mask. CDE doesnot seem to like this very much. Help!

What IP address are you binding to the lan0 interface?
