Unable to use the USB-DDS4 drive with hp.11.23
Hi,
I want to use an USB-DDS4 (HP) drive on rx6600 , HPUX 11.23

But with ioscan -fn you can see the usb driver :
unknown -1 0/0/2/0.1.16.0.0 UNCLAIMED UNKNOWN HP C5683A
I don't know how to load the usb driver and how to use the driver.
Any help is welcom ?

Shalom,
USB tape drives are not supported on that system. Probably. Could be something new I don't know about.
Add the stape driver to the kernel and see what results you get after a reboot.
You will get much better performance from a SCSI attached tape drive.
