Re: Undocumented feature to reload ems from the sav.mon file
This is a functionality of emscli. The manual page of emscli should help you. Here is an example:
nero:/# emscli -l
Req ID Resource Value
413466629 /system/numUsers 2
nero:/# emscli -g 413466629
Generated script file /var/opt/resmon/cli/sav.mon.
nero:/# cat /var/opt/resmon/cli/sav.mon
/opt/resmon/bin/emscli -a /system/numUsers -n 1 -r ne 0 -p 300 -u sec -t snmp -s min
Existing monitoring requests can be "saved" by creating a shell script that contains the emscli command that would create the same monitoring request again (in case it got lost).

Re: Undocumented feature to reload ems from the sav.mon file
... but it never really was an " Undocumented feature", BTW (according to the emscli manual).
:-)
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
