Unexpected exit error in SAM !

Hi !

When i enter to the "Networking and Communications->Hosts" option in SAM. I received
the next message:

UNEXPECTED EXIT: process LANG=C LC_ALL=C /usr/sam/lbin/samx -C -n -p 3606
-s hosts_init_file /usr/sam/lib//hosts.ui exited with non-zero exit status.
sh: 3677 Bus error(coredump).

I'm running on one HPUX 11.11 server. Someone have an idea about this message.
i have the suspect that maybe is a patch problem.

I suspect your right. It is a patch problem. Load the latest SAM cumulative patch and any dependencies.

I would check to see if there are any syntax errors in your /etc/hosts file.

Try doing a
#swconfig \*

If the above does not work
install/re-install the latest SAM patch

Everyone gets that with 11.11 Its always solved with the latest SAM patch. I don't understand why they don't build it into the core release already.

Exactly was a problem patch. I attach more information:

Warning: 04/01/22 - This Non-Critical Warning has been issued by HP.

- PHCO_27374 introduced behavior that may cause SAM to
exhibit an unexpected error when attempting to display
and manage a large /etc/hosts file (approximately 400-500
entries or larger).

- In SAM, when executing Networking and
Local Hosts File, the following
error is seen:

UNEXPECTED EXIT: process LANG=C LC_ALL=C
/usr/sam/lbin/samx -C -n -p 17908 -s
hosts_init_file /usr/sam/lib//hosts.ui exited with a
non-zero exit status.
sh:18025 Bus error(coredump).

- The same behavior is experienced with superseding patch
PHCO_28123.
