Unexpected restart on HP-UX

I had experienced unexpected restart on my HP-9000 D230
running HP-UX 10.20. The system simply restart without any message nor core
dump. Can anybody help me?

Paulo,

Look at the /etc/shutdownlog. If the system were to panic and reboot, the
panic routine will record an entry in the shutdownlog and write crash files to
your crash directory (defined in /etc/rc.config.d/savecore; defaults to
/var/adm/crash.

If you do not see any indication of a panic, then you need to explore other
reasons for the system failure such as power loss or other hardware failure.

I had this problem on an HP C180. I replaced the root disk and never had the
problem again.
