Unicenter error with getRDWdata

I noticed on one of the HP servers running 11.0, there is an error while I was already logged in the server.

The error is:

.CAI_E_CC_007 Internal Error, cannot find value definition for column 'ID'

.CAI_E_CC_007 Internal Error, value too large for array element in getRDWdata

/etc/profile[160]: 23160 Memory Fault

This error has come up before, and the Unicenter Admin said I need to get my server rebooted on a regular basis, to clear out the memory.

Is there something I should ask him to checkout within Unicenter? Does the server need to go thru a weekly reboot to prevent this message from coming up?

Thanks.

Note: this is posted over the networking forum, but I got no response from over there. Hope to get something from here.

Re: Unicenter error with getRDWdata

Here is a bit more info,

Product: Unicenter NSM
Version: 3.0
OS: SOLARIS, HPUX, AIX, Linux

Product: Unicenter TNG
Version: 2.1, 2.2, 2.4
OS: SOLARIS, HPUX, AIX, Linux

Q: I am getting hundreds of messages like these in my console log file:

.CAI_F_PS_105 Internal Error, record length mismatch in getRDWdata
.CAI_F_PS_106 Internal Error, rec_length = '-201', trailer_len = -16080
.CAI_E_CC_007 Internal Error, cannot find value definition for column 'ID'

This is causing our system to hang, we cannot shutdown TNG. I had to kill all TNG related processes with 'kill -9 ' command. Now I cannot bring TNG up. Please help me resolving this issue.

A: Please issue following sequence of commands, while logged in with root id, to resolve this problem:

1)secadmin -z
2)unicntrl stop secu
3)secadmin -s all
4)secadmin -i db
5)secadmin -i sdm
6)secadmin -c
7)seadmin -i all
8)secadmin -a
