UniGrahics Not working
Hi Admins
I have an HP735 workstation with 10.2 installed. UG is not working properly in this. Not working in the sense shading and not rotating options are not getting enabled, Remaining everything is working. I reinstalled 10.2 with latest support plus and loaded prerequisite patches like Xmotif, OpenGL, 3D common graphics..etc. One more bundle is mentioned in that list which I could not get, Bundl name is "PowerShade". Is it a matter? Or This bundle is for what? Where I can get?.
Thank in advance.
Shahul

Re: UniGrahics Not working
The problems you describe sound as if you either have not installed the full range of graphics api's / libs or are running at a O/S patch build which is insufficient.
As of of ACE (Additional Core Enhancments) release one and later,
PowerShade is no longer required. The 3D lighting and shading functionality has been perminantly unlocked in the graphics libraries
so a seperate product bundle is not needed to be able to get full 3D graphics capabilities.
For additional information on the ACE releases, see this site:
http://www.software.hp.com/products/ACE/
my advice would be to refer to :
http://www.ugs.com/products/unigraphics/ for the list of recommended HP patches. It will most likely require the latest release of the ACE patch bundle.
If powershade support has not been enabled you should easily be able to tell by running the following command :
graphinfo | grep Powershade
good luck !
