Uninstalling Apache
Hi,
I installed Apache binaries on the server and need to uninstall it. Since I am not very familiar with HP UX, I was wondering if I need to do something more than simply uninstall Apache through SAM. I didn't compile it from source. Thanks.

Re: Uninstalling Apache
Yes, you can uninstall it from SAM (or swremove). Any changes you made will also disappear.
nothing wrong with me that a few lines of code cannot fix!

Re: Uninstalling Apache
Go into the swremove interface. Should see an item in the corresponding to the Apache. Mark it and tell it to remove.

Re: Uninstalling Apache
If you want to manually remove these are the usual places to looks for the files:
Binaries:
/opt/apache or /usr/local/apache
Config:
/etc/opt/apache
Logs:
/var/opt/apache
Binaries:
/opt/apache or /usr/local/apache
Config:
/etc/opt/apache
Logs:
/var/opt/apache
Minimum effort maximum output!
