Unix and Shiva VPN

My skill set is more on the NT networking world. I have a Shiva VPN setup with Site to Site tunnels. I can ping every thing on the other site except my Unix boxes. The Unix box can ping the internal gateway and the gateway can ping the unix box but a user can not access the box through the gateway from the other site. Any info will help. Thanks

It sounds like a routing issue. If you run a netstat -rn check to what the gateway is on the unix boxes. Also try doing a traceroute to one of the boxes on the other end of the vpn.
