Unix database and windows 98 & ME

I have a Unix database system which can be access from the NT network under windows 95. I have a script file which runs at login and it maps a drive to access this database.

However this login script will not map the drive under windows 98 or ME. I have been able to map a drive under NT and Windows 2000 by modifing the registry and telling it to enable plain text passwords.

I hope somebody out in this knowlegdeable group has experienced this problem and figured out the solution because it is escaping me

Disregard my request. After I posted the question several of my co-workers came upon the answer. Problem has been taken care of thanks
