unix file recovery

hi,

one of my important file got deleted in my workstation.is there anything like recycle bin in unix from where i can recover it.
i don't have the backup of the file.

i stopped all the process running on the workstation.
to avoid rewriting in that area.

is there any way i can get the file back.

indeed it is diffcult to recover in unix bcoz of the filesystems used.

but there some ways in which u can recover files in unix.

this is not supported by HP.

but can try it

thats a cracky doccument.

but i couldn't find my file.
but got some files which is not required.
