Unix printer is defined as a RAW printer



I like you to setup Unix printer is defined as a RAW printer port instead of the JETDIRECT definition
how to setup Raw printer port in HP-UX 11i

Raw and JetDirect are not mutually exclusive.

If this is a network printer, set it up using the JetDirect hppi command and then
lp -oraw -dmyprinter mybinaryfile

or change the interface file after you create the printer to make "raw" the default mode.
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.

Hi

You can use the lpadmin command with a -m option for the model.

The model is listed /usr/spool/lp/model directory.
