Hi !
I have rp5405 HP-UX11i,and four 36GB hard
and two Phycical group PVG0 and PVG1
PVG0 have two driv and PVG1 two drive
I want to install new OS before installing the new OS can I break the mirror? or I do not need to break mirror just install new os

Installing a new operating system does tend to break mirroring and PVG definitions.
However, I suppose if you are not going to use all of these disks in the new installation it could be argued that the disks you won't be using should be "pvremoved" which would mean breaking the mirror and removing them from the volume group first.
Generally speaking though I think it's a job you needn't be too concerned about.

Never preceed any demonstration with anything more predictive than "watch this"

You may want to break the mirror, just so you have a backup system to boot from (I assume vg00 is mirrored) in case the new OS install fails. Otherwise their is no requirement to split the mirror first.
