Unrecognised DVD - HP UX

I am trying to install cache on a HPUNIX machine but I cant seem to mount the DVD.

I am using the correct mount command
- heres the info from the ioscan

# ioscan -fnC disk

And here is the mount command I am using:
mount /dev/deviceFileSystem/Usb/MassStorage/dsk/disk@hp-1008+294=A60020000001 /dvdrom

but I am getting the message:

...unrecognised file system

The /dvdrom directory has been created

If I run the command from within the /dvdrom directory I get this message instead:

... was either ignored or not found in /etc/fstab

It is a matter of just adding and entry into the fstab file and if so what ?

Please provide system type:
model

I heard that Internal DVD devices may start showing up as USB devices, but am unsure of support.

What was the case some time ago is that USB only supports mouse and keyboard on HP-UX.

USB based DVD's if that is what this is sometimes simply will not work.

You might need to upload the software from a Windows system, or a HP-UX server with a supported DVD device.

I'm not providing this information with my usual certainty, but it should be considered none the less.

mount -F cdfs /dev/deviceFileSystem/Usb/MassStorage/dsk/disk /dvdrom


But got the following message:
not owner
