unzip shrink method for HPUX.
I have a user that is trying to unzip files from an OS2 box an is getting an error on the shrink method.
Archive: blah.1
skipping: zyxfile `shrink' method not supported
Is there anyway to extract this type of file on Unix?

Re: unzip shrink method for HPUX.
Hmmm ... I doubt you can with the /usr/contrib/bin/gunzip version on the native HP-UX load.
Can you duplicate the problem on Windows with WinZip?
If you can't do that, you could try the more functional version of zip at: http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/hppd/hpux/Misc/zip-2.31/

Re: unzip shrink method for HPUX.
Shalom Jason,
I do not recall if OS/2 followed standards or not.
Winzip or a newer version of zip might detect it or you might be out of luck.
OS/2. I remember that.
