Re: Update

Filo,

The Operating Environments simply bundle other applications with the OS. The OE is the most basic. The EnterpriseOE adds MirrorDisk, Online JFS, GlancePlus, and PRM. The MCOE adds MCSG and Workload Manager on top of the EOE environment.

So the question is not what OS you have now, but which applications you have.

Re: Update

Filo,

In that case, go for the EnterpriseOE. You'll have to add on SecureShell (and anything else not included).

You can also use just the basic OE and add on applications to that, it all depends on what you have, what you need and which way works out to be cheapest. Generally the bundled Environments make the most sense.

Re: Update

Hello,
If you take 11i Enterprise and Secure Shell, you will have PRM (Process Resource Manager) and GlancePlusPak as supplement. Be aware that it can happen that your support contract will be higher due to those two softwares.
