updatediaglif

The /usr/sbin/diag/lif/updatediaglif
directory is missing.

I am trying to run:

mkboot -b /usr/sbin/diag/lif/updatediaglif -p ISL -p AUTO -p HPUX -p PAD -p LABEL /dev/rdsk/c?t?d?

Is this a patch issue, do I need to download a patch to install this directory?

Re: updatediaglif

Hi,

updatediglif & updatediaglif2 are executables - not directories.
SO if the /usr/sbin/diag/lif directory is not there then you need to load the Support Tools bundle - OnlineDiag

Re: updatediaglif

Also and if this is a 64-bit system then you run updatediaglif2
Run getconf KERNEL_BITS to see whether you're 32 or 64 bit.

Re: updatediaglif

Hi:

As I recall, you need to make sure that the OnlineDiag bundles are installed:

Re: updatediaglif

The offline diags are no longer part of the online diags. It's a "stand-alone" product now.

current version for pa-risc systems:

http://h20293.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=PA0603

just download and install.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.
