updatediaglif2 - wheres it gone!!!

Hi all,

I've installed a number of new servers recently and when I have gone to update the disk headers on the mirror disk I've noticed the /usr/sbin/diag/updatediaglif2 doesn't exist. How do I update the headers????

The offline diagnostic is no longer part of the online diagnostic (since more than 1 year If I remember right).

Go to http://software.hp.com and download the ISO image for install:

(search for "pa offline diag").

Hope this helps!

Getting offlinediag cd (either by download or via classic mail) is one way, or just grabbing nearest /usr/sbin/diag/lif (that's where updatediaglif2 lives) from the similar system (parisc if parisc, itanium if itanium) does the trick too.
