Hello,
I need to update the drivers on my A9784-60002 HBA cards from B.11.11.06 to B.11.11.10 and was wondering if my current firmware level is compatible. The current firmware level is 3.3.16.

Solution
The risc firmware on the card is only used if you boot via this card.
In all other scenarios the driver is totally enough.
If you use the HBA to boot, consider to upgrade the firmware from here
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=329290&prodSeriesId=421119&swItem=ux-36358-2&prodNameId=421118&swEnvOID=54&swLang=8&taskId=135&mode=4&idx=0
and use fcmsutil for that.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Updating HBA drivers/firmware
I forgot to mention - this applies to PA-RISC based HP9000 server.
I know you are using this, because of 11.11.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
