Upgrade 10.20 to 11.0 on K580: NFS issue!!
I just recently performed a cold install of 11.0 from a CD onto my K580 box. After modifying a LVOL sizes and selecting 64-bit Minimal HP-UX O/S, systemm rebooted. It's now stuck on the NFS start up script. No login prompt at console yet.
Note, the system is not connected to LAN. Its a standalone system at this point.
The system did have NFS when it was on 10.20 & its not needed on 11.0 .
How do I reset or by-pass the "stuck state" within the system startup scripts?

Try referencing this old thread: http://my1.itrc.hp.com/cm/QuestionAnswer/1,1150,0x85707e990647d4118fee0090279cd0f9,00.html
Once you have access to your system, you could turn off NFS by editing the /etc/rc.config.d/nfsconf file and trun the NFS switches to 0 from 1.
Good Luck!
