Upgrade from 10.20 to 11.00 32-bit OS

While trying to upgrade from HP-UX 10.20 to HP-UX 11.00, we are running into
problems.

We have followed all the steps from the manual. After installing the correct
SW-DIST software, we try to "swinstall -x os-name=HP-UX:32 -x
os_release=B.11.00" which puts one into the installer.

Here we do a "Match what target has" for analysis. After completion of
analysis, I get the following error messages:

"OS-Core.CORE-KRN, r=B.11.00 must be fully installed"
"LVM.LVM-KRN must be selected in order for installation to proceed"

The above 2 choices do not exist on the HP-UX Install and Core OS Release 11.00
CD ROM.

Has somebody encountered this?

Have you tried the "auto select dependencies when marking software" under the
options ?,
