Upgrade software from ver.a.11.09 to a.11.12

Dear Experts,
I have a two nodes Cluster running on OS HPUX ver.11.00. The MC/ServiceGuard version.A.11.09.
I need to upgrade from ver.a.11.09 to ver.a.11.12.
The cluster can shutdown any time.
I have refer to the Document in http://www.docs.hp.com/hpux/pdf/B3936-90045.pdf
From the document its using rolling software upgrade.

Can I just install the MC/ServiceGuard ver.a.11.12 into the cluster node after cluster have been shutdown and without remove the old version a.11.09 MC/ServiceGuard ?
If can't, How I can do the upgrade ?

You do not hav eto remove the 11.09 version. All you do is follow the Rolling Upgrade section (Appendix E ) in the Managing MC/ServiceGuard manual.

Can I just swinstall the new version of the MC/ServiceGuard ?
Didn't the new version will over write the old version of the MC/ServiceGuard software ?

EXACTLY.
just follow the Appendix example on how to do it, and dont forget to load the lates SG 11.12 patch at the same time or you will have problems.
PHSS_24305 is the one.
